Brothers and Sisters of IBEW Local Union 379, our 100th Anniversary is fast approaching. In August of next year (2026) we will turn 100 years old. In preparation for this event, a new 100th Anniversary Committee had its first meeting last week. Currently serving on the committee are Darren Helms, Scott Thrower, Denise Schnull, and Anna Ward). We have secured the Charlotte Convention Center ballroom for our celebration on August 8th 2026. Shortly, we will be sending out "Save The Date" magnets to all members and retirees. We have a lot to celebrate, our history and in preparation of next year's event, we will start posting some old IBEW Journal articles on this page once a month.
