The local death benefit fund was designed to provide the family of a Brother or Sister who has passed away, $5 from every member and retired member who still participates in the fund. These monies are due to the family of our member once a death certificate has been presented to the Local Union. As of today, 1-19-2021 we are 3 deaths behind with another one coming this week. Most member pay the death benefit when they are notified by the orange card or when they pay their monthly dues. If you can call and pay current or at least 2 deaths ahead that would help the Local get these 4 members family paid.

We all joined the Local Death Benefit fund to help our Brothers and Sisters families that are in need when that member has passed away, and one day your Brothers and Sisters will pay $5 to your family.
