We are proud to announce that IBEW Local 379 is offering NEW Voluntary Disability and Life Benefits to our Active Members and their families.  We are now in Open Enrollment for the IBEW Local 379 Group Paycheck Protection Plan! 

You’re GUARNATEED APPROVED to protect your paycheck!  There are no medical tests, questions or underwriting to enroll in your choice of; Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability & Life Insurance with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D). 

HOW IT WORKS:

• Protect your paycheck!  If you’re unable to work due to an illness, injury or death, these coverages will continue to pay you. 
• Benefits are paid tax free, directly to the Member or beneficiary. 
• These benefits pay in addition to other coverages to give you better protection.
• Premiums are collected via a secure ACH transfer process on the date(s) you pick. 
• You can reduce or cancel your coverages at any-time. 
• No medical tests or questions to enroll; Members and their families cannot be denied coverage.
• Coverage effective is 8/1/2021.

Without these new benefits, Local 379 Members only receive $250 per week (less taxes) through our H&W Fund for 26 weeks if you can’t work due to an illness or injury; now you have the ability to get better financial protection by enrolling.  IBEW Local 613 Members have been paid over $920K in disability & life benefits on this plan!

The decision to enroll is the individual responsibility of each Member and the plan is completely voluntary.  Please review this information carefully and choose the plan options that best address the needs of you and your loved ones.
