You should have received your Carolinas Vacation Fund check this week, if you do not receive it by the end of the week, please let the Hall know. This vacation fund is valid for any local in the Carolinas Inside Construction (238,342,379,495,553,776), if you work out of these two states, you will not receive this vacation fund. There have been some questions as to how the payout will work, please see below.

The Carolina’s Vacation Fund paid our January through April this go round, since it started January 1^st of 2021. There is a 6-8 week delay due to the way our benefits are reported to Board 63, which includes H&W, National Pension, Local Pension and now includes the Carolinas Vacation Fund. As an example, if you work the month of May, the hours and money are due by the 15^th of June and Board 63 disperses the money in the next few weeks, so about 6-8 weeks. Below is a running example of how the Carolinas Vacation Fund will pay out over the next 2 years:

2021 January – April                     4 Months           (First time paying out)

2021 May – October                     6 Months           Pay out in December of 2021

2022 November – April                 6 Months           Pay out in June of 2022

2022 May- October                       6 Months           Pay out in December 2022

2022 November – April                 6 Months           Pay out in June of 2023
