Changes coming to Continuing Education Class in 2022

Over the last 10 to 12 years, the training center has offered continuing education classes such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, NFPA70E and Code.  The data collected from the sign in forms during this time period shows an average attendance rate of 40% of those registered actually attended the class.  To continue offering the classes and ensure attendance, the Committee discussed several possibilities.  After carefully considering all options, the Charlotte Electrical JATC (CETI) will begin charging a $25 refundable registration fee.  This charge will go into effect with classes offered after January 1, 2022. 

The process of pre-registration will continue.  At the time of registration, the attendee will need to provide a debit/credit card payment of $25 will be required to hold their seat.  Once the attendee completes the course, the registration fee will be refunded to the debit/credit card provided at registration.  If the attendee does not show up for the class or doesn’t complete the class, the debit/credit card hold will be processed and will not be refunded.
